Chief Superintendent Kevin Lewis told the gazette last Friday “Our focus behind the “FUCKIT” action plan is to lower the amount of DUI arrests on the island, and what better way to lower the number than to simply stop counting.” In this landmark decision, by the RCMP, PEI will now be the only province in Canada to legalize drinking and driving. Kevin Lewis continued by saying, “The only reason drunk drivers have a bad rap is they get nervous behind the wheel. If we remove the stigma and let people drive under there intoxicated condition, they’ll feel relaxed, we’ll have more confident drivers, we’ll free up police to tackle more egregious crimes like kitten rape, and underground child fighting rings.”
